Carly R. Jacques, MSW, LCSW, EMDRIA Certified Therapist™
Hi, I’m Carly. It’s nice to meet you. I understand that things may be tough, and I’m here to help.
As a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience, I offer a compassionate yet direct approach to help you navigate life's challenges and find lasting relief. Together, we will develop practical strategies to overcome obstacles, build healthier relationships, and establish crucial boundaries. I also utilize specialized modalities, including EMDR therapy and mindfulness techniques, to address past trauma, manage present triggers, and move forward on your path toward wellness.
My diverse, ten-year background spans both private practice and non-profit settings, providing me with a deep understanding of the complexities of the human experience. I have worked in a variety of environments—including shelters, soup kitchens, counseling centers, residential programs, behavioral health facilities, and the criminal justice system. This broad experience ensures I can provide personalized and streamlined care tailored specifically to you.
My therapeutic approach is deeply informed by my own dedication to wellness. I balance my professional practice by prioritizing simple self-care, like daily walks with my dog, and engaging in meaningful community involvement as a volunteer and board member for the Naugatuck Valley Soup Kitchen.
